About Us

We are Jill and Kate, and maybe you know us because of our music, our podcast...or maybe you've never heard of us! No matter what, we're glad you're here. 

For almost 20 years we have been playing music together, traveling, writing, and trying to figure out what life is all about. Along the way, we have met SO many amazing people, just like you, who want to get the most out of life, who want to be a part of a positive community, who want to learn and grow and enjoy life, just like us. 

We have had in-person gatherings, started Facebook groups, created online events to try to build this community, and we've had a lot of fun doing it. But we really felt like we were missing a central place where everyone who wanted to join could gather in one place. We decided to build this online platform because it offers so many ways to connect and grow this community. 

We thought long and hard about what we wanted to call this place, and after much brainstorming, we finally landed on the BRDG. 

Here's why: A bridge is something that connects people, and this place is all about connection. 

So, why "BRDG" and not BRIDGE? We wanted the name to have even more meaning than just the connection part. What we’ve found about you through all these years is that you are kind, supportive, GENUINE, and GOOD...and that you want the same things that we do. We all have the same belief that no matter our differences, we are all on the Same Side. BRDG is an acronym and it stands for: BE REAL, DO GOOD. This is what we already see in you, our community, and so it just made sense to name this place with those principles in mind .

So, we want you to join the BRDG and come along with us on the next part of the journey. We can’t wait to get to know you more, to share more music and other projects with you, and to share the built-in support that this community offers.
